Randal Nardone is a director, interim CEO, Co-Chairman of the board of directors and one of the founders of Fortress Investment Group. Other than being a principal at Fortress Investment Group, Randal Nardone is also a director, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of FIG LLC. In addition to these leadership roles, Randal is also the Chief Executive Officer at the Fortress Micro Finance Advisory LLC as well as a co-founder, Chief Executive Officer, and FM Falstaff Advisors LLC. At Impact Commercial Holdings, Randal Nardone is the Chief Operating Officer as well as the secretary of the board of directors in the company. At the New Castle Investments Holdings Corporation, Randal is the Vice President and the secretary to the board of directors. He is on the board of the Florida East Coast Railway Corporation and Holdings Corporation as well as the Eurocastle Investment Limited. Randal Nardone’s education and background

Randal attended the University of Connecticut where he got his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Biology. He then decided to get a JD from Boston University and start a career in the law industry. After graduating from Law School, Randal sought a career in law and started working at the Thacher Proffitt and Wood law firm as a lawyer. Here he got to work with financial institutions that led him to gain an interest in the finance industry. When he left the company, he had made enough connections to get him a job at BlackRock Financial Management firm. At BlackRock, he worked for a few years before becoming a partner at the firm. This also earned him more experience in the industry. Upon leaving BlackRock Financial Management Firm, Randal joined UBS in the year 1997. He became a partner at the company soon after he joined. Unfortunately, he did not stay long in the company, he resigned in the year 1998 then partnered with Wesley Edens and Robert Kaufman with whom he launched Fortress Investment Group.
